In 2021, Logical Solutions, Inc. was awarded the contract to proceed with a retrofit of the control system at Frito Lay Data Center in Plano, TX. Due to the nature of uptime requirements for a data center, LSI was cognizant of the heavy planning that is necessary for this vertical market. Once all parties involved were given the MOPs prepared by LSI, it was time to complete a changeover of an entire control system that could not experience any downtime.

The retrofit included a complete BMS changeout, as well as all DC equipment to be monitored by the EPMS. Every panel that was changed out was done with redundancy in mind as well as expanded point capacity to account for future growth. All Site Scan Controllers were seamlessly integrated into the WebCTRL system.

The future proofing of the system proved invaluable to the client as plans of expansion were already taking place and guaranteed to take place in the near future.
